  I am using Xperia P for the last 2 years. Last week my phone camera seems to be stuck with some problems. When I am trying to operate the camera it says like "Camera isn't responding.! Do you like to close it?"
  Upon several enquiries and online research I came to know that some software conflict can cause such a problem.
  My front cam works fine with Google hangout application and flashlight works well when using "L launcher"(as torch). Is there is any way to reload the camera firmware,or to reset the same? My phone works on jellybean.

  • Hi, first you can try to download 3th party free good camera applications from Google Play Store like Open Camera or something like that. If that camera can work, then maybe the main camera applications at your Sony Xperia P get trouble. You can try to reset camera setting from menu Setting > Apps > All > find camera and press Clean Data. If your camera still not work, you do not need to download camera firmware, you just have to try doing hard reset, then your Sony Xperia P operating system will be reformat to factory default, then your camera applications will also restore back to factory default again.

• Hi. I have this xperia LT22i. It do shutdown when I set network mobile band to "GSM", and after this when I do turn ON it, it do again shutdown. But, if I set it to USB charge, it do turn ON very good!
  I for solve this problem, set it to "wcdma only" band, it do very good work in this band!

  • Hi, that is strange because usually there is not different between switch at GSM or WCDMA, but your Sony Xperia P working good at WCDMA. If previously your phone work normal with GSM or WCDMA but now this problem happen, then please try to remove some latest installed applications. However, if still not working then you better do backup all important data and then do hard reset with menu Setting, it will reformat and restore all setting to factory default. But of course you have to setup again your Sony Xperia P from beginning.
