  • Hi, you can try do do hard reset first to make sure that is not hardware problem. If the LED illumination still not active, then you may bring it to Sony service center for further test.

• Ive been to this shop to istall GPS to my Sony Xperia P bt it doesnt work n i asked the person to uninstall it..aftr that there are many data ( appear all of the application that i had installed before/it is very small letters at the right side of my phone) appear at my phone's screen..How to fix it?

  • Hi, the GPS hardware at Sony Xperia P has already available, you can use several GPS applications with each functions. But the easy way to test your GPS hardware is using Google Map which has already preinstalled at Sony Xperia P, but you can update the latest version with better functions from Google Play Store.

    Back to your problem, maybe the person was not delete the proper application which activate that icon. If you are really bother with that icon, and can not find which applications run that Icon, try to do hard reset and everything will back to new again, but of course your important data may be wipe. So consider to backup all important before do hard reset.

  • Hi, sorry I do not understand what do you mean by original or not, because there is officially only one type of Sony Xperia P. Anyway, you can check you IMEI of your phone from Phone Menu > Setting > About > Phone identity

  • Hi, by default international Sony Xperia P does have default Google Play Store unless you install the custom rom. If you need to install Google Play Store, you need to download the APK source file first. Find the latest version one from community or use Google search engine to fine the latest one, after finish download APK files, transfer it to your Android, install that APK using your installed File Manager. Please remember, not all custom ROM able to install Native Google Play Store, but you can try it first.

  NEED URGENT HELP !!
  I tried flashing Custom ROM, but it failed somehow,
  now i am getting infinite boot loop animation,
  i tried going in fastboot mode but now that is also not working.
  Now I cannot use fastboot mode, so i cannot flash another ROM
  the device is simply in Infinite boot Animation loop.
  Please Help and Suggest Step by Step instructions

  • Hi, first we always need to remind that doing ROOT or flash Custom ROM has some drawbacks especially when we do without experience, that is why we are not recommended doing that. If you already try doing flash with custom ROM, please try again to find the way to install Recovery app such as CMW (clockmodwork), then try to flash again with that recovery tools. We hope the phone still can be accessing with some other options.

  • Hi, if you do normal Hard Reset or Master format step for Sony Xperia P, then the phone will back to last update Android operating system state. So if you already upgrade the firmware to new version, then the source Android which saved inside your Sony Xperia P rom already use last new version, and this will use every time we do master format or hard reset.

• hi admin, my sony xperia p is pretty good , but the back key activates itself everytime i open my homescreen... i cant do anything because the back key vibrates from itself and then takes me back from app to homescreen... i rebootet it.. NOTHING. Sony Update Service... NOTHING. Reinstalled from cellphone itself... NOTHING.. its always there... pls help me.. .:/

  • Hi, it seems your Sony Xperia P have problem with the applications. Some similar problem happen because the user install 3th party launcher. You did not said done to hard reset or master format, than you should try to do this step to make sure this problem comes from the applications. You can try to connect your Sony Xperia P with to computer which already installed with PC Companion software, then do format to factory default using that application.

  • Hi, if you forgot the security password pin for Sony Xperia P, then you can try to bypass the password by press Forgot Password button which will be appear after you do several time wrong password continuously. Pressing Forgot Password button will bring you to bypass unlock the security password with answering Google account username and password in that phone. Please try that step. If you can not access Google account or Gmail account at your Sony Xperia P, then you need to do hard reset, but of course all important data and installed applications will be removed from your phone.

  • Hi, if there are no power charging indicator when connect Sony Xperia P to charger adopter, then maybe the hardware problem either in your charger or your phone. Please try to connect your Sony Xperia P with other charger see what happen. If there is still no charge indicator, you need to bring your Sony Xperia P to nearest Sony service center.
