The very easy way to do is remove the battery from Nokia Lumia 520 after open the back case. Wait about 5 seconds and we can put the battery again in the right positions. After that we can turn on again by pressing power button. The second to force soft reset when nothing can be touch in the LCD touch screen by press and hold POWER BUTTON for several second, if you see ‘slide down to power of’, do slide the phone then it will turn off. We need to press Power button again to turn on Nokia Lumia 520 on again.

Aftee updating to amber, my 520 is stuck in flight mode. I tried hard reset above ut it wont turn off flight mode. Pls help. Thanks

  Hi, in normal situation your phone will run normally after Upgrade Nokia Lumia 520 to Amber. We just worry this problem happen because you need to hard reset or master format Nokia Lumia 520. Please try that above step carefully, it should work.

      Hi, normally the hard reset process at Nokia Lumia 520 will be finish not more than 10 minutes totally. Maybe some steps or trouble in our phone can make the hard reset or reinstall process can not work properly. You may try to do hard reset again after you wait more than an hour(s) maybe, but if you still can not fix with hard reset using hardware button, then you should consult to Nokia service center.

By doing format will reinstall clean and factory default setting camera applications. If you have already done the format process, but Nokia Lumia 520 camera still not work normally, than better you bring to nearest service center.

  Hi, that problem maybe happen because the applications that make the system phone become hang or crash. If this problem always happen, then better to try doing hard reset your Nokia Lumia 520, and after that try to install and play that game again.

I followed your instructions for the hard reset and it seemed to work fine but when I went to enter my sim pin I couldn't because the touch screen isn't working now. The digitizer screen was fine before the reset. Any ideas on why this happened and how to resolve it?

  Hi, in normal conditions after finish doing hard reset Nokia Lumia 520, the phone will work normally and will not effect any hardware. Maybe you can try to do hard reset again and see what happen. If the problem still happen, you may need to ask Nokia service center to find out what happen with your Nokia Lumia 520.

  Hi, if you can not download music at Nokia Lumia 520 because of forgot or lost password at Nokia Music Subscription, then you need to recover your password from Nokia server, please try to go https://account.nokia.com, then choose: Forgot your password? at Nokia account website to recovery your forgotten Nokia account password. Once you finish recover the password, then you can user Nokia Music Subscription again do download any sound from Nokia Lumia 520.

  Hi, if your Nokia Lumia 520 sound is disappear in every applications or ring tone, and you have also already done with hard reset or master format, then it maybe hardware problem with the speaker or damaged. That is why you need to recheck and repair it at Nokia service center. Some game usually will not damaged the speaker, but the very loud sound might make the speaker broken lets say because of speaker phone, music or radio or anything which is play the output to speaker. Maybe some hardware does not build very well in factory production.
