The very easy way to do is remove the battery from Nokia Lumia 520 after open the back case. Wait about 5 seconds and we can put the battery again in the right positions. After that we can turn on again by pressing power button. The second to force soft reset when nothing can be touch in the LCD touch screen by press and hold POWER BUTTON for several second, if you see ‘slide down to power of’, do slide the phone then it will turn off. We need to press Power button again to turn on Nokia Lumia 520 on again.

  Hi, you have to try use Microsoft website to help restore forgotten password of your email address. If you can not find your Microsoft account password, then the only solutions you can do is doing hard reset either using software menu or hardware button combination key steps above. You need to make new email address again to connect with Microsoft account, after that you can continue download any applications from Windows Phone Store.

I own a Nokia lumia 520, i have a problem with the storage. It says that other storage takes up 4.4gb how do i remove other storage. I tried to download apps and i watched videos how to do it but nothing works,

  Hi, the other storage at Nokia Lumia 520 use for keep temporary files, you can try to clean temporary files using Storage Check Utility and usually the other storage will become less then 1GB.

  Hi, first you can try to disable the flight mode / airplane mode from Setting > Flight Mode, and choose on or off. If you still can not disable flight mode, then you have to do hard reset or reformat with steps above. Since your Nokia Lumia 520 still can go to setting menu, then we recommended use software menu to hard reset.

  Hi, please check again your setting for disable flight mode / airplane mode from Setting > Flight Mode, and choose on or off. Usually this problem can fix without need to hard reset, but in some case, if you problem still happen then you have to consider doing hard reset or reformat with steps above. We recommended to use Setting menu for doing hard reset if your phone still can do that. Please follow the steps above.

my lumia 520 does not show the display since 7 days...my battery is fully charged...but my lumia screen just glowing...but does show the display.. then i tried the BIG STEP ONE is done successfully.....and then I tried to do the STEP TWO.....it also works...... But after that I The GEAR is showing...and nothing has shown...what can do???? pls help...

  Hi, the options to hard reset either using software menu or hardware button only work if your Nokia Lumia 520 still at normal standard situations. If there are some hardware trouble, then maybe that steps not work, at this time you should consult with Nokia authorize service center for further test.

  Hi, unfortunately doing hard reset using hardware button combination key at Nokia Lumia 520 need power button and volume button work properly. Therefore you need to fix your hardware button first, otherwise you can not doing master format using hardware button. Please bring to Nokia authorize service center and they also can help you to force hard reset to factory default.

Sir,i have reset the lumia 520.while reset the lumia 520 it has low battery and then i connect the charger ..after charging 3 hours when i just turn on mobile the gear still running and also shows u have low battery....sir what i do plzzxx help

  Hi, please try to use different power charger adapter with minimum 1 A current output. If you are sure no problems with your charger but your phone still can not charger properly although you charge it at OFF positions, then it might get trouble with battery or hardware. However, about gear still running and it run more then 10 minutes, you should try to hard reset or reformat again your Nokia Lumia 520 with hardware button combination key at #Option 2 above, but we suggest to do it together with charging.

  Hi, have you already sign-in with Microsoft account at your Nokia Lumia 520? Because we can not access Microsoft Windows Phone Apps Store if we not login to that account. Without login to Microsoft account, you still can use Nokia Lumia 520 for make a phone call, browsing Internet, send and received sms, photos and several features. We strongly advice login to Microsoft account, if you down have it, please sign-up it first, which also can be done from Nokia Lumia 520 login account menu.

Please follow steps at #Option 2 above to hard reset or reformat clean factory default Windows Phone operating system or firmware.
