  • Hi, you could try to follow step to recover forgotten password security lock. You can bypass it using Google account. Please find Forget Password button after doing several time wrong answer continuously. After that, you need to type your username and password of Google account or Gmail that use at this Samsung Galaxy Star. If you can not access your Google account or Gmail username and password at this phone, than you need to do hard reset you Samsung Galaxy Star using hardware button key with the step above.

• I jave rooted my Samsung gt s5282 and I want to go in recovery,I have installed cwm but whenever I want to go in cwm recovery it won't let me go.

  • Hi, first we are not recommended to root Samsung Galaxy Star because some wrong steps will make our phone corrupt. The root phone also sometime can not with default recovery process. If you already root your Samsung Galaxy Star and install CMW recovery applicatin but can not run, then you should try to re-flash your recovery apps again, but be careful to do this process. • My phone was stock on the logo of Samsung in the introduction of Power On. Before, it always happen. And I think, its because of Rooting. But, one thing happen, I unroot it and still happen the same, my phone will automatically shutting down and, I always use the hard reset. So, I root my gt-s5282 again. 3 months after what happen, while I converting the user apps into, system apps that, everytime i convert, it will need to reboot using the Link2SD app. But, one thing happen, It stock again on the logo. So, i use the hard reset. But, after rebooting, still stock on the logo. I tried many times, and until now, my phone stock on that. Can you help me ? The hard reset, didn't work anymore.   • Hi, we always not recommended user to do root or flash Samsung Galaxy Star with custom ROM, because doing root or flash with custom ROM will make the phone can not work normally and we can not do some standard steps to make it back to normal again. Like what happen now, your phone already damage and stuck to Boot Logo problems. We are not sure weather it can solved or not, but you can try to use SAMSUNG KIES applications which need to be download first from Samsung official website, and try to restore or flash the operating system with Samsung Kies application from your computer. In some situations, the same problem could not solved. So please try bring your phone to Samsung authorize service center. Or hopefully other community member or guest can help you to solve this problem.

  • Hi, by default wallpaper of Samsung Galaxy Star can be charge from Menu Setting > Display > Wallpaper, choose what kind of wallpaper do you need from several images at your phone. There are also other option to change wallpaper from desktop home screen, but this is depend on what kind of launcher that you use, find setting at that launcher which usually also have setting to change wallpaper. You can also install some applications from Google Play Store to find several kind of Wallpaper Applications. That applications have option to set selected images or live images for your phone wallpaper. If non of this options work for you, then maybe some applications not work properly. Mostly the help of 3th party applications from change wallpaper or manual wallpaper setup can work.

  I bought my Samsung Galaxy Star S5282 device on April, 2014.

  In the second month I am facing some problems like

  1) Volume of the ringtone getting changed automatically (though we set it to full volume)

  2) Phone getting switched off automatically without any notice

  Please help me what to do.

  • Hi, some trouble can be happen because applications that make crash or make wrong setting. You should try to remember which last applications that you install at the time problem happen. If you can not find it, we suggest you to do hard reset or master format for reinstall clean factory default Android operating system at your Samsung Galaxy Star. Please remember to backup all importat data because this steps will wipe and removed all data, and installed applications as well. If after doing hard reset the problem still happen, then you should bring your Samsung Galaxy Star to authorize Samsung service center for further check.

  • This happens because of two reasons and they are::
    1. Your phone is running more apps than its capacity. This can be solved by long pressing the home button and goto the application manager and clear all running application.

    2. You have installed viber or Skype or such apps which are not supported on your mobile

  • Hi, if you still can access from menu at your Samsung Galaxy Star, then use Setting menu to do hard reset, but if you can not access menu or lcd touch screen not responsive with finger touch, then you should do hard reset with hardware button key carefully.

• my handset is samsung galaxy star pro GT-S7262. i can not get received call history in call logos,only dailed numbers are shown in call logos. at beginning it appears but now it being a tension...kindly help me

  • Hi, the call history will be appear at your phone menu functions. You just need to click Dealer application from your Samsung Galaxy Star then try to click again Logs at Dealer menu, after that you will see the history of your call or received number. If the history of received number still not appear, then you should do soft reset or reboot, after the phone finish doing soft reset, then try to use other phone to contact and you need to receive it about more then 5 seconds and then hang-up the phone. After that it should show at your Dealer Logs.

  • Hi, there are some information that you could get from your Samsung Galaxy Star regarding the error for give more information about kind of problems. Usually some error happen when install applications from Google Play Store like Whatsapp or Facebook or Tweeter or BBM because of low internal memory space. Please reduce the installed applications to free your internal memory size, You can also consider to do hard reset to make all applications back to factory default and also the setting.

Please use file manager from your Samsung Galaxy Star to choose several important data from your internal memory, then move it at your external card, after that for safety reasons, We also advice to remove the external memory card before doing hard reset. If your Android phone already synchronize to Google account, the contact data should already backup automatically to Google account, but you need to make sure by login to Google account from your computer browser and find from Google Contacts weather all data already there or not.
