How to Easily Master Format LG G PRO LITE (DUAL) D680 / D682TR / D686 with Safety Hard Reset?

  how can we have remove blank homescreen in lg g pro lite d686

  • Hi, blank home screen usually happen because you install 3th party launcher at LG G Pro Lite. Please remove all 3th party launcher, then soft reset / reboot your phone again. If the problem still happen you can try to install again new launcher with high rating and more then 1.000.000 downloads to make sure this launcher applications recommended to download. After finish download, press HOME button, and choose your new installed launcher if ask. If you still can not remove the blank home screen, then you have to do hard reset to clean all bad setting or unappropriated applications from LG G Pro Lite, then you should resetting again like new.

      • Hi, we are worry the problem at your LG G Pro Lite comes from the LCD hardware. That is why we can not see anything when the phone restart. Usually, we still can see the startup Logo when we turn on or do hard reset. You should try to bring your LG G Pro Lite to nearest LG service center.

        • Hi can you help me solve my problem? When I open my phone (LG D686) I can see the logo, then it doesnt go to the home screen. I already did the hard reset many times but it doesnt work. Is there an alternative reset?

        • Hi, doing hard reset will reformat your LG G Pro Lite to factory default operating system. If it still not work after doing hard reset either using hardware button or software menu, then please bring your phone to LG authorize service center for further check.

• Hola solicito de su apoyo para saber si todavia es posible recuperar un LG G PRO LITE.
  Se cayo al agua se le quito la pila y se dejo por mas de una semana con arroz. Ahora que ya paso ese tiempo puse nuevamente la pila oprimo el boton de encendido y aparece la pantalla negra con el logotipo. Ya hice el reseteo con el boton de encendido y el boton de bajar volumen segui las instrucciones para hacer el reset. Y lo unico que esta haciendo es prender y apagar con el fondo negro y el logotipo.
  Creen que todavia se pueda salvar el aparato? Ojala que si y ustedes me puedan orientar.
  Gracias de antemano por atender este mensaje y su posible respuesta.

  • Hi, sorry we reply in English, you problem with LG G Pro Lite which has felt down to the water but you already remove the battery for a week. Basically the problem when our phone submerged in water then some damage could be happen. You have already done right thing to remove the battery for several days, but still we can not estimate what damage happen before you remove the battery, because the water could make the component inside your phone become short circuit at several locations. Some hardware button for hard reset or master format may not work properly because of the water. That is why you need to bring your phone to nearest service center for further check.

• Can you guys create any custom roms for lg g pro lite d686?

  • Hi, sorry we can not provide custom rom. Please find your appropriate custom rom from other community like XDA Developers. Many of them could help your problems. But please do it carefully, because some wrong steps to root or install custom rom, can make your phone bricks and can not use anymore.

• hi my lg d686 got an update from since that it hasn't started again ive everything to put it in recovery mode it doesn't go in all your si=eeing is the lg logo the a spash screen of the lg logo saying life good and it jus stays there loading ive tried recovery mode no luck ive tried lg software to fix it it remain the same tried lg mobile support tool no luck the phone goes into download mode but not into recovery or hard reset mode no matter what I tried vol- and power nothing canyone help me plz

  • Hi, the main button to do hard reset the LG G PRO LITE D686 is using Power button key + Volume Down button key together. This hard reset procedure mostly work for applications problem that make LG Pro Lite become trouble. But in some situations maybe the hardware corrupt and can not fix with hard reset or master format. You should consult with LG authorize service center for your problem.

• I accidentally pressed skip when it asked for email verification. Troublesome as it needs a verification every time I pull the new emails. Already succeeded to reinstall but strangely it is pulling old emails from 2012. How do I access the 2014 emails?

  • Hi, basically you can sign in again anytime when you open Gmail or Google Play Store at your LG G Pro Lite, but anyway it seems that you already solve the problem. Now talking about email, by default Gmail mail account, which access with Red Mail icon (default Gmail icon), then only 1 months email which downloaded to our Android phone. This setting can be change by open the Gmail RED icon, then at Gmail application, choose setting and choose Sync messages. At this menu you can choose how many email that you want to download at your LG G Pro Lite, the default options is 30 days. If you have many email, we suggest not to choose Sync All, because your internal memory will be full. Although you choose only 30 days to download, but we still can access old email at that application because this Gmail default application can update to server when you need to read old email.

• Hello, i installed actualization to 4.4.2 but now i have many problems...can i go in some easy way back to android 4.1 ? some reset? it is few days old so i dont want to loose waranty with some rooting. Thx for answer.

  • Hi, as far as you can not reinstall back to or downgrade to Android 4.1 after doing upgrade with OTA. Some setting inside your LG G Pro Lite will change to fit the new firmware update. Usually the upgrade OS will bring better performance, however, some applications maybe not compatible 100% with latest update, therefore, please try to do hard reset to clean all setting back to factory default and also you can start to reinstall your chosen applications from Google Play Store with latest compatibility of new os at your phone.

  The gps on my lg g pro lite activates itself . No matter what I'm doing, making calls or just idle, the GPS activates and says: searching. I did some research and they were talking about some CarrierIQ, I rooted my cellphone, to check if my carrier put this on my cellphone. Nada.
  Already did a hard reset and its driving me nuts because this issue is draining my battery faster and I bought the phone a month ago

  • Hi, first of all we are not recommended to do root our phone because it will make some trouble and we can not fix it with standard procedure. However, because you already use rooted LG G PRO LITE, then first you need to find the suspected applications that can activate your GPS without any notice. You also can try to turn off manually the GPS functions from Setting Menu or download GPS toggle widget from Google Play Store. If the problem still happen, please consider to do hard reset or reformat your phone to clean up all unwanted trouble maker applications.

• Hi Bro, I'm using LG G PRO LITE D686, in my device I didn't configured any google account for backups, my cousin didn't know screen lock password, he trying many times to unlock, unfortunately my device is locked. Device says please enter ur google account but I didn't configure any account, is there any way to unlock my device.

  • Hi, if you never put any Google account at your LG G Pro Lite, then the solution for bypass or unlock forgotten security protections can not process at your phone, because it need to use Google account and Internet access to bypass. Therefore, you have to do hard reset using hardware button to reformat your LG G Pro Lite, unfortunately all you important data or installed applications will be remove or wipe as well.

  • Hi, if your phone still at standard rom without ROOT or not use custom ROM, then you have to try several time to do hard reset LG G PRO LITE using hardware button like steps at #Option 2 above. This normal steps will not work if your phone already get some operating system tweak or similar like that.

  • Hi, we never know about Quick Mode at LG G PRO Lite, but maybe you have already changed the launcher or installed other applications from Google Play Store, then you have to read help files to remove quick mode, or try to do soft reset or restrart.
