# Method 1: Hard Reset REALME P1 PRO From Menu Settings:
- Open Menu Settings
- REALME P1 PRO work with Realme UI 5.0, this is what we have to do (maybe different depend on software / firmware version):
- Realme UI 3.0 and above: Settings > System/Additional Settings > Back up and reset > Reset Phone
- We can choose what option to reset, like: to reset network settings, all settings, or erase all data (factory reset).
- Please confirm and follow the steps to make sure we continue the process to reset.
# Method 2: Format / Reset REALME P1 PRO With Hardware Button Combination Key with Recovery Mode
- Please Turn Off Our Phone
- Press and hold the POWER BUTTON + VOLUME BUTTON together until the phone vibrates and enters Recovery Mode.
- Choose the Language by using VOLUME BUTTON to up and down, then press POWER BUTTON to choose or ok.
- Go to Wipe Data and select it.
- Go to Format Data
- Please confirm our options to format. Sometime we have to enter the verification code if prompted.
- Choose Format to process the hard reset.
Please note, this process will remove any data, installed applications and setting from REALME P1 PRO. Therefore we need to backup all important data before performing hard reset.
