This is the simple solution to fix REALME 12+ (PLUS) problems. Please note, this is for REALME 12+ without pro, but do not worry, the steps to hard reset is similar with PRO version, because it is use the same Android version and same Realme UI. Please follow some steps below:
# Method 1: Hard Reset REALME 12+ (PLUS) From Menu Settings:
- Open Menu Settings
- Please choose one following options, because this is depend on our software / firmware version:
- Realme UI 3.0 and above: Settings > System/Additional Settings > Back up and reset > Reset Phone
- Realme UI 1.0 & 2.0: Settings > Additional Settings > Backup & Reset > Erase all data (factory reset)
- Realme UI R & Go & S & T Edition: Settings > System > Reset options > Erase all data
- We can choose what option to reset, like: to reset network settings, all settings, or erase all data (factory reset).
- Please confirm and follow the steps to make sure we continue the process to reset.
# Method 2: Format / Reset REALME 12+ (PLUS) With Hardware Button Combination Key with Recovery Mode
- Please Turn Off Our Phone
- Press and hold the POWER BUTTON + VOLUME BUTTON together until the phone vibrates and enters Recovery Mode.
- We will see the options to choose the Language. Please navigate using VOLUME BUTTON to up and down, then press POWER BUTTON to choose it or Enter.
- Go to Wipe Dataand select it.
- Go to Format Data
- Please confirm our options to format. Sometime we have to enter the verification code if prompted.
- Choose Format to process the hard reset.
It is very important to backup all important data first before performing hard reset or reformat our REALME 12+ (PLUS) OS to factory default. Because all data might be removed from the storage.
