# Method 2: Format / Reset REALME 12 LITE With Hardware Button Combination Key with Recovery Mode
- Please Turn Off Our Phone
- Press and hold the POWER BUTTON + VOLUME BUTTON together until the phone vibrates and enters Recovery Mode.
- Choose the Language by using VOLUME BUTTON to up and down, then press POWER BUTTON to choose or ok.
- Go to Wipe Dataand select it.
- Go to Format Data
- Please confirm our options to format. Sometime we have to enter the verification code if prompted.
- Choose Format to process the hard reset.
Please note, this process will remove any data, installed applications and setting from REALME 12 LITE. Therefore we need to backup all important data before performing hard reset.
