How To FIX Camera OPPO F25 PRO Problems?

OPPO F25 PRO is a 5G smartphone that works using a 6.7 inches AMOLED display. The first operating system uses Android 14 and ColorOS 14. We can find a triple camera at the backside with a 64-megapixel f/1.7 for wide with PDAF, 8-megapixel f/2.2 for ultrawide, and 2-megapixel f/2.4 for macro.

However, some users encounter issues with the OPPO F25 Pro camera. We will provide simple solutions to fix OPPO F25 Pro camera problems.

Why is OPPO F25 Pro Camera Slow, Responsive, or Lagging?

Sometimes we need to use our camera as quickly as possible, but at certain moments, our OPPO camera runs slowly. Please note, RAM is very important for running any apps, including the OPPO camera. This phone has 8 GB RAM. If we open too many apps, then this RAM will be insufficient to run the OPPO camera app.

What happens when RAM is insufficient? This phone will try to force close the oldest unused applications to free up more RAM space to avoid hanging or getting stuck. This process may cause some delay on the OPPO F25 Pro to free up RAM.

Therefore, our OPPO F25 Pro camera applications will run slower. Please close all unused applications before taking photos or videos. If we want to take serious photography shots, consider rebooting or restarting the OPPO F25 Pro to clean up foreground or background processes.

How to Fix OPPO F25 Pro Camera Issues?

This phone comes with a great rear camera and a front camera for selfies. We will provide some steps to fix OPPO F25 Pro camera problems. Please follow the steps below:

#Option 1: Reset OPPO F25 Pro to Factory Default using Camera Setting Menu

  1. Turn on the OPPO F25 Pro.
  2. Ensure our Camera application still works/runs when the Camera Icon is pressed.
  3. Press the Camera Icon to activate the Camera application.
  4. Go to the Setting menu inside the Camera application, usually the menu icon with a gear at the camera application.
  5. At the Camera Setting menu page, scroll and find Restore to defaults.
  6. Choose OK when OPPO F25 Pro asks for confirmation to reset all camera settings to factory default.

#Option 2: Reset OPPO F25 Pro Camera to Factory Default using Setting Menu

This step is similar to #Option 1 above but differs only in the starting process. Please use these steps when the Camera application is not running when we press the Camera Icon.

  1. Turn on the OPPO F25 Pro.
  2. Go to the Setting Menu.
  3. Choose App Management.
  4. Choose Show System Processes.
  5. Choose Camera (scroll until we find it).
  6. At the Camera detail menu, choose Force Stop and ensure this camera is stopped.
  7. At the Camera detail menu, choose Storage Usage and press Clear Data.
  8. When it asks for confirmation, choose Clear or OK. Then, the OPPO F25 Pro camera application will be restored to factory default settings.

#Option 3: Install Alternative Camera Applications for OPPO F25 Pro

After trying #Option 1 and #Option 2, if the OPPO F25 Pro camera still does not work, we can try to install third-party alternative camera applications from Google Play Store. We recommend installing Open Camera, which is free and has several features that can work with the OPPO F25 Pro.

#Option 4: Try to Upgrade the Firmware

Some problems occur because of software bugs. The firmware upgrade will be released to fix camera bugs or troubles. Please try to find the operating system or update from the Settings menu.

#Option 5: Perform a Hard Reset to Factory Default when All Steps to Fix OPPO F25 Pro are Not Working

The last option we can try when the OPPO F25 Pro camera is not working properly is to perform a hard reset. Please follow the steps to hard reset OPPO F25 Pro in this specific article.

Please be careful, as a hard reset or format to factory default will remove all data and installed applications. Make sure to backup all data before performing a hard reset.

Why is OPPO F25 Pro Front Camera Not Working or Error?

We can take good photos and videos using the OPPO F25 Pro front camera. The resolution is 32 megapixels f/2.4. We can record movies up to 1080p at 30fps using gyro-EIS.

However, some users encounter front camera issues like freezing or getting stuck. Another OPPO F25 Pro front camera problem is always returning to the main home screen when we try to open it. Why is this happening?

Mostly, OPPO F25 Pro selfie camera problems occur because of camera applications. We can try several options to fix OPPO F25 Pro front camera issues:

  1. Try to perform a soft reset or reboot OPPO F25 Pro.
  2. Try to reset the camera application from the camera menu Setting.
  3. Try to install an alternative camera like Google Camera, Camera for Android, or Open Camera.
  4. If everything is not working, the last option is to perform a hard reset using the Settings menu or hardware key.

How to Fix OPPO F25 Pro Camera Auto Focus Problems or Camera Blurry?

This phone has autofocus features. But some users find it hard to focus, and some of them get blurry photo results. Several possibilities can cause it to be hard to focus:

  1. Clean the OPPO F25 Pro Camera Lens: This is important because small dust in front of the camera will make the autofocus sensor keep focusing on that object. We should regularly clean our camera lens using a soft cloth.
  2. Check for Scratches on the Camera Lens: This situation is similar to the dust problem. The autofocus will keep focusing on that scratch and make it hard to focus on real objects. If we see a bigger scratch, we suggest replacing the camera glass lens with an original one at an OPPO authorized service center.
  3. Software/Firmware Issues: Some software or firmware versions may cause the OPPO F25 Pro camera autofocus to malfunction. Please try to update to the latest firmware or Android version.

Why is OPPO F25 Pro Camera Error After Android Firmware Upgrade?

The OPPO F25 Pro uses Android 14 OS out of the box. We will receive some firmware upgrades. Sometimes, our OPPO F25 Pro camera applications get some troubles after an update. Please try to reset the camera application settings to factory default. If the problems persist, try to backup all important data and perform a hard reset to reformat the OPPO F25 Pro to factory default.
